After many paths - Production assistant, PT, London bike messenger, barista, Pilates instructor, admin assistant, bar staff - I came to breath work and fell in love with the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual impact it can have on our bodies. To me the the breathe encompasses everything about life.
I lived with Chronic fatigue for over 10 years stemming from a hyper-vigilant nervous system as a child, being a closet gay, an over achiever and people pleaser (plus other things).
My main focus as a breath facilitator is to help you reestablish a connection with your body and self. To feel safe in your body, create a balanced and resilient nervous system, and loosen your grip on life.
Having done this (and still doing this) for myself through breath work and other practices to calm my nervous system, I now aim to use my experience and knowledge to help you connect through your breath.
Anyone can benefit from breathwork techniques, however I particularly work with people recovering from long covid and chronic fatigue, and the Queer Community.
Aside from running my own sessions I also work with 360 Mind Body Soul long covid recovery programme who are recognised by the NHS.
(I still teach Pilates and am an advocate for ice baths and cold water therapy. All of these can be included alongside breath work)
